The company also disclosed a "going concern" warning, which indicates to investors that it may not be able to stay in business without raising more capital. Aptera's SEC filings also state that the company expects its operating expenses to increase in the near term and doesn't anticipate positive cash flow from operations for several years.

I do worry this vehicle is taking forever to come to market and sadly it's not a mass market EV - also the solar powered range is only going to work in very sunny countries and who wants to put their vehicle in direct sun all day, it's going to get so hot inside so you use more air-con. Saying that I wish them well and hope its a success.

Looks like a coffin safety wise. Fills a niche for city driving just keep your head on a swivel so you don't get crushed.

I come from a place where we are mostly country and winters are pretty bad so i cant see it being very convenient for people like me also including tesla and other EVs like it. I would love an EV but i still dont think we are there yet.

As Louie mentioned, too small for most users, and not as safe. The tech needs to come a long way to power bigger vehicles. And I drive an EV and have solar, so not just a hater.

100 Wh/mile, is around 6.2 kWh/100km that is good, but In summer a Ioniq electric 28kwh can reach 8-10 kWh/100km and is a normal sized car (5 seats). Still I really like the idea of solar charging while parking or driving!

cool technology but wouldn't sell to the mass's as it looks like an 80s dystopian future car. Not really people aesthetic these days.

I had done a restoration project on my 1959 VW Bus a number of years ago. The older bus’ look really cool, but as you mentioned, the modern luxuries of new cars, like a good heater, are very nice.
